Hebrews 12:15 NLT
Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.
The Passage
This scripture is part of a passage that was written to encourage the Jewish believers to stand firm in their faith and not let persecution cause them to turn back to Judaism. The author is urging them to accept their current situation as an act of love. He explains to them that only a loving father would discipline his children.
